Project: Health Monitoring Wearable Device with Fall Detection

We are building a device that can act as a virtual caretaker in the sense that it can monitor critical health parameters like heart rate and body temperature of a person, along with detecting a fall using highly accurate machine learning algorithms, and providing authorised remote access to this information to doctors or caretakers. We believe that this device of ours can be game changing in the field of elderly care since it provides to them the much needed freedom to live independently despite their reduced physical strength and balance.

Recognizing the importance of sleep in our everyday mental and physical well being, Team Siesta has developed a low cost IoT integrable sensor network to monitor the effect of sleep hygiene on sleep quality. Through a network of sensors controlled through a central raspberry pi zero server alongside a free sleep tracking app, sleep quality information from the app is correlated with environmental data obtained from the sensors (in the form of scatter plots and graph) to obtain patterns and recognize the required conditions for attaining the optimal level of quality sleep, as well as combating well known and often undetected sleeping disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, and seasonal affective psychosis.

Low-cost Handwriting Input Device through Sensor Fusion Devices such as styluses or digital pens require special surfaces to be functional. We develop a prototype in a pen-shaped setup using a fusion of inertial sensors that can digitize handwriting movements without imposing any constraints on the surface underneat

“Wheels on Roll” aims at solving the problem of conveyance faced in particular by the students residing in the college campuses by matching the demand with the supplies of cycle to the users equipped with advance technologically developed locking mechanism.

Our main USP is that we are initiating our services in various campuses including College Campuses, Apartment and Residential areas. Encompassing new edge technology we plan at making the bike sharing automatic, economical and app friendly under the project name "Digitally enabled automatic cycle rental with advance locking mechanism".
