Abdulla Hisham is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Foradian Tecnologies, a Bangalore-based company that builds innovative web applications for education domain. Fedena, the flagship product of Foradian is an opensource school management system used in more than 40,000 institutions around the world powering 20million users. Foradian successfully initiated and implemented Fedena in all the 15,000 schools of Kerala, India in collaboration with Government of Kerala, which is one of the largest deployment of open source software of it’s kind in the world. This project helps the government to save more than 10million dollars every year. The same project was listed in the e-Asia award finalist 2011. Foradian is also known for the creation of Indian Rupee Font for the Indian Rupee symbol which got more than 20 million downloads.

Hisham played a crucial role in growing Foradian from a small town startup to a profitable technology company and helped in winning prestigeous awards like MIT TR35 , Edustars and NASSCOM Emerge for innovation in education. Hisham is also a Startup Leadership Program fellow and he mentors various other product startups from India. Hisham was invited as speaker for various international conferences like International FOSS Conference India, Indiana LinuxFest USA etc. He was also a speaker for the TedxKids@cubbonpark.

Before starting Foradian Technologies, Hisham worked as a control system and automation engineer and lead the famous automation project of the largest University in Middle East.

Hisham is a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kannur University, India and won the nation-wide attention for the final year engineering project involving hacking of electronic magenetic waves commonly known as Van Eck Phreaking.
