PS Jalaja

Born and brought up in Kerala, Jalaja secured BFA and MFA in Fine Arts from RLV College, Kochi. Through her work, she tries to trace the history of ‘man’ within the collective ‘human’ history. This history has much importance in her works. Jalaja offers a counter vision of a wide laugh and a deep cry within the canvas of many histories of man.

Her most recent exhibitions inlcude, Mattanchey, curated by Riyas Komu, Uru Art Harbour, Kochi in 2017. Dissonant Image, three solos, Gallery exhibit 320, New Delhi in 2016.
